Ofsted

St. Mary’s most recent Ofsted was in June 2014 . Amongst other things Ofsted said that:

"Pupils are constantly challenged to do their best and they try hard. Teachers have high expectations and they plan work which provides good level of challenge for pupils of all abilities, including the more able.

The behaviour of pupils is good. They are polite and courteous to each other and to all adults in school. They are eager to learn and they work well together."

 Also

"The school’s work to keep pupils safe and secure is outstanding. Pupils’ welfare is given high priority. The school does all it can to make sure that they are cared for."
