Spellings
Spelling tests take place on Tuesdays and the children will recieve their new set of spellings the same day.
Numeracy (Data Handling)
We will be looking at organising data/information into venn and carroll diagrams, using more than one criterion. The children will be collecting data and representing the data in a range of different ways such as pictograms, bar graphs and line graphs. Once the data has been collected we will be spending time interpreting our information as a class.
Literacy (Persuasive Writing)
Week 1.
We will be looking at written adverts and interrogating persuasive texts (adverts) to identify how they make an impact.
Week 2.
Children are identifying and using the language used to create an impact in Tv Adverts.
Week 3.
The children will be scripting and recording their own persuasive trailer.
